I am , again, participating in the Indie Challenge hosted by Bootsnall. Just like last year, I’d be posting an article a day, based on the question / challenge of that day.

Share What You’ve Learned with Others.

We all have something to teach each other, whether we’ve traveled or not.
QUESTION:
Share something you have learned while traveling, or about traveling with us.
Did you just learn about a new country/city/place you didn’t know before? Tell us about it (and show us some photos!).
Have you learned first hand some travel tips that you wish you knew before you traveled?
Tell us and help teach those of us that haven’t been on the road yet.
Let’s all share and learn from each other!

In July 2011 I learned about Aquincum. You can find it in Budapest and it used to be the Roman capital of Panonina. I have never heard about it until Alex mentioned it.

In May 2014 I have discovered that going to Bratislava was the best choice ever. The city is affordable, and very interesting.

In September 2013 I discovered the love locks in Peschici. I wish I knew before we went because that was a place where I would have wanted to add a love lock.

Every time I visit Budapest during summer I am remember how cold the nights are. I wish I would remember this BEFORE I packed for each trip!

After running a marathon to visit both Herculaneum and Pompeii on a single day, I wish I would have listened to my gut and plan two more days in Naples.
