I’ve been writing since I was in general school. From murder stories – yes, I was reading murder novels before I actually read fairy tales! – to travel articles in the high school’s annual booklet, to economics papers during University, followed by some technical books on how to use Office products, to travel articles again and again…

While I’ve gotten used to compliments about my writing, I am still amazed by them. Why? Because every single one I got contained the word “passion”. I do admit that being passionate about a country / place or about travel , in general, will lead to good articles – and to quote those who complimented me – “surely shows your passion”.

But besides travel and writing, I am also an avid photographer – which kind of goes hand in hand with travel – and reader – which also goes hand in hand with writing. You cannot be a good writer without being a passionate reader.

And now, if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got a book waiting to be read. Happy Weekend!
