It’s that time again, when we make a list of the places we have visited in the year which is about to end. Alex said we traveled more this year, I said we have traveled less than in 2011. Here it goes:

Rome , Vieste and Foggia – Italy

We left Arad and flew from Timisoara to Rome on March 2012. Then a long ride to Rome, some days in Vieste and a day trip to Foggia. Best cappuccino, pizza and gelato in my life!

Athens – Greece

On March 8, 2012 we flew Rome to Athens and spent 5 marvelous days, enough to make me fall in love with the city, its sights, the food and…everything else.

Moneasa, Arad – Romania

In July 2012, we escaped to a mountain resort , Moneasa, 100 km from Arad for a long weekend and sort of a honeymoon.

Ceala Forest, Arad – Romania

On a too hot summer day in August 2012 , we took a long walk to the city forest close to home.

Pecica, Arad – Romania

A friend asked, we said yes and we ended up at a folk concert on a nice September Friday.

Macea, Arad – Romania

Someone asked whether we wanted to take a day trip to the botanical garden in Macea in early November. We said yes and the weather was amazing. The photos ended up amazing, too and we had a great day!

Szeged – Hungary

We finally made it to Szeged as a couple , in late December. It was cold but we had fun.

Budapest – Hungary

When this article is published, we are in Budapest, enjoying 5 days without work and…just the two of us and some (make it a lot of) friends.
