Hello, Budapest!

We woke up at 3 a.m. Alarm was set for 3:30 but somehow I was better at waking up without it. By 4:30 we were out the door looking for a cab. At that hour there’s no public transportation available and walking in -7c wasn’t a choice. I felt the driver was a bit cranky but the lady from the store took the grand prize. The non stop store said open but the door was closed. I knocked at the door and at the window and by the time I was about to give up someone very cranky and sleepy came. We got the water, paid, thanked and got a window slammed in our face. At least the train was early but someone it arrived with a 10 min delay in Budapest. We walked to the panzio and now we wait for the room. Check out is at 10 a.m. So hopefully we won’t wait for too long.

The net works well so far, the coffee from the coffee machine was good and cheap – 80 ft- and the bathroom is refurbished. Yay. Oh and it’s warm. The plan is to check in and then go to the Christmas Market and we’ll see whar else.
