How to get to:

We flew Wizz Air from Cluj to Bari. From Bari we took the shuttle to Vieste. The b&b is very close to the park.

Price 420 euros / 7 nights / 2 adults
and included:

• accommodation
• breakfast at a cafe of our choice (from 3 choices)
• tourist tax
• tour of the marine grottoes for both adults
• Vieste gold card (free transport on public lines)
• discount cards at 5 venues in the city

What we liked:

• big room, big bed
• hot water non-stop, big bathroom
• in the city center, close to absolutely everything
• romantic setting
• mini fridge with goodies (free!)
• tour of the marine grottoes included in the price
• safe: lock downstairs, main door locked, room door locked
• only two rooms in the b&b: very cozy
• very clean

What we didn’t like:

• the view from the room was of the … big house in opposite the street and a bit of the main strain
• the street was very noisy (6 am yelling started)
• very lousy internet connection
• view from the bathroom window and the hallway was better than the one from the room (go figure)
• info ref sites / tours in the area was ancient and not accurate
• the discount cards were for the most expensive places in town (duh!)
