Create your own Travel Manifesto

CHALLENGE: Create your own manifesto. Write down your top 10 values for life and/or travel. There is no wrong answers here.

(Ask yourself: What are your values? What do you believe? How do you think one should be to be good in life/a good traveler? What do you make a priority? What is your meaning in life? What is your why? Check out our Indie Travel Manifesto for an example)

1. Don’t judge a destination by others’ comments about it or by a travel guide. Go and see for yourself.

2. Seek to blend in with the locals, not scream “tourist”

3. Make travel a priority (experiences vs possessions!)

4. Be kind and open-minded to new cultures.

5. Leave only foot prints behind (and not trash)

6. Make friends with locals and Fellow travelers.

7. Seek that hidden tavern / cafe always, where no English is spoken and the food is devine

8. Always be true to yourself.

I am , again, participating in the Indie Challenge hosted by Bootsnall. Just like last year, I’d be posting an article a day, based on the question / challenge of that day.
