QUESTION:
What are your top 5 travel tips you’d like a new traveler to know before going abroad

Even if you haven’t been on a RTW trip, we bet you’ve traveled some. To family for holidays, camping with friends, or exploring your hometown by bike. Tell us 5 things you’ve learned during your travel experiences.

Top 5 travel tips I give my friends because I am the “travel expert” in our circle of friends:

1. Bring half the clothes and twice the money.

2. Travel carry on only!

3. Travel during shoulder season (if you hate cold like I do)

4. Book your flights THEN your accommodation ; and both at least 6-10 weeks in advance

5. Visit a new country / city every single year

…and the most important one: JUST GO!
