If you ever go to Barcelona in Spain, take a bottle of cava, snacks and a blanket and head to Bunkers del Carmel. Previously, this place was part of anti-aircraft battery during the Spanish Civil War. Nowadays, it’s full of young people gathering every night to socialize, accompanied by the bottle (or few!) of wine. It makes this place so lively and vivid. Why is it so popular? Here you can admire the most stunning views of Barcelona. Quarters of the buildings stretching to La Barceloneta beach, along with the giant Sagrada Familia and a patchowork of colorful streets… On the right side, in the distance, you can see the Montjuic hill – another perfect lookout point. The whole city seen from this perspective looks so peaceful and quiet… Maybe it’s also a good idea for a romantic date? Definitely a place worth visiting on your next trip to Barcelona!
